Time for a new job! Don't cave in. Mercury hazards are real! If, while your
looking for a new gig, you have to repair these things (to feed the kids who
wont have a normal father for long) blow out the merc with high pressure
into a hazard container (like a latex glove) and rinse. Dispose of the remains
and rinsing agent as hazardous waste.
Next time get the order in writing and find a lawyer.
