Most Flashback is caused by an imbalance in vaccum pressure between two
points. The vaccum in the tube being bombarded is less ( higher reading) bads
and uglies are being gased of at this time making the tube have more resistance
and less vaccum. With the main open the manifold is vaccumed to a lower
level than the tube: therefore the manifold will have a better vaccum and less
resistance. The electical current will follow the course of less resistance
and will flow toward the manifold,FLASHBACK!
The Cure 1.) close the main during bombing 2.)wait until the tube and the
manifold are closer to the same vaccum 3.) buy the biggest bombarding
transformer you can afford if you are doing alot on long tubes ( over 6ft.)
