Don, 99.999% percent of the time you can safely turn the main stopcock while
the bombarder is on but that slight chance of shock still exists. Alex Miller
(Samuel C's brother) told me a story of waking up on the floor knowing he was
hit but not knowing how. This is after pumping for 50 years.True I'm a bit of
a safety nut but we take a lot of risks in life and safe bombarding habits
will just increase our chances of doing this to a ripe old age like my friend
Ben Kresge. Tom, don't you know somebody who was hit through a stopcock?
