Re questions about Tech 2000, had a good 4 years of business with them after
which things turned sour and at the moment I would not recommend them. My
last order to them came and not one of the transformers worked on my system.
I had a rush order and was counting on them, and had asked them to ship them
UPS overnight. So when I tried to turn them around and ship them back COD for
the cost of the transformers and shipping both ways, they would not accept
them. There was a bitter fight after which I had to take them back and ship
them to them with no COD, counting on them to refund my money, which they
eventually did with a lot of bickering, and they would only refund me the
cost of the transformers, and none of the shipping. They acted really
paranoid about them, as if they thought I had really not wanted them in the
first place and was just being a pain in the ass looking for an excuse to
return them, not at all true. It took over one month to get my money back and
I was out the mony during that time. I was disappointed since I had known Tom
Garvoda for 4 years and considered him a friend but he had turned into a real
A**H*** over the years, and I would not do business with him again. His
supplies had been pretty good for a while, but he was not willing to back
them up at last transaction, without a lot of acrimony.
