One trick I have learned is to keep the trap a good distance from the tube, as the heat from the processed tube will vaporize mercury and possibly cause problems. If you route your traps over the bombarded tube, feel the trap with your fingers after bombing. Then remember that merc vaporizes at just over 100 F.
