In Response To: Re: BURNT UP ELECTRODES (SVP Neon Equipment)

Interesting....... I can not comment on EGL electrodes since it has been a while since we have used them. But what I do remember is that we had to include an extra step to keep the electrode shell plating nice and bright to prevent the graying of the electrodes. Price was also an issue.

We have since switched to SVP electrodes and are very happy. Please note this is not a plug but just an honest observation. We have been saving money and our units are coming out great.

When in doubt, try changing the elctrodes or really look at your bombarding process and the amount of footage in your neon unit. As mentioned previously, perhaps the units were underfilled thus burning up fast.

Good luck, let us know how you make out.
