Don't take the chance of not having Insurance. You need a general liability umbrella policy that contains product liability. Annual costs are dependent on sales, and a number of other factors and can be supplied by most business based insurance companies. Annual rates run $800-1200 on average for a one man shop.

Don't be a fool and do not avoid insurance. You can be sued for the simplest of things (a sharp tubulation) to being partially liable for burning down a place of business.

This is problem with our industry. People do not realize that you can sue anyone for anything and that if you do NOT have insurance you will bear all legal representation costs. People that are supplying units without insurance as simply fools.
