Don, although I have some opinions about Helium in gas mixtures, where in each tube is it turning red? How hot are the electrods? Can you see any Hg. on or near the electrode shell? What size is the glass? Exposed? Length of tubes? Even with just 75/25 you shouldn't get these problems at these temps. Morgan
