By a coincidence, am reviewing my old Kittel on that subject at the moment.
QM no problem, they gave me enough in grad school at MIT to understand it. I
just was interested in the more practical aspects of the subject, perhaps
just for my amusement and understanding. You comments are helpful. Once, I
made some of my own powder metallurgy electrodes with the emitter in them for
flashtubes, it was interesting and amazingly worked out well. This is why
this seems so interesting.
