Hi Morgan, The new NEC also states that ground fault protection must be
included on most instalations. Kind of makes mid"point/circuit'' grounding
difficult. The question remains when UL adopts 96 NEC next month can
signmakers build UL listed signs without using ground fault protection?
Tecnolux, under the name Tecnoservice is currently producing neon sign
transformers for other markets. All of them can come with an optional ground
fault protection, open circuit protection or both. So this question interests
me. David
