Mario,  What do you mean by saying "started at 14mm and ended at 9mm"? 
Also, do you have a fairly new NEON flask?  Does it happen on core and 
coil transofrmers?  Do they stay pink?  Does the tube get extremely hot 
to the touch (more than normal 8mm)?
