subject: Natural gas flushing.
I was always taught to flush Mercury repairs w/natural gas and still do!
Works wonders! Even the DIRTIEST tubes come clean.
Every manifold I have ever had has had a stopcock for natural gas.
I used to think that everybody that used natural gas in their shop did this.
Never had a tube blow up, however I am careful not to allow too much Oxygen
or
the or the pressure to be too high before attempting to light the tube.
This has always worked for me.
