I assume Eurolite is the European type of glass that the neon industry calls “lead free”? That will be easier to work with than soda glass.

As long as the COE (coefficient of expansion) of the electrode glass and tubing is similar/compatible you can mix them, although if they are not identical it is a good idea to flame anneal the seal.
