But when I started to read the pages much more of the stuff had proven itself to be wrong such as lifespan etc.
His letters are 9 floors up on an office tower and he finally told the LED guys to forget it. The 1-year warranty fine print didn't cover labour, nor would they divulge the brand of LED they were going to install. The idea of being responsable for possible crane rentals whenever an led segment failed was the deal breaker.
He figured it was easier to keep the neon, which has required repairs maybe a half-dozen times over the last 15 years of being installed. At least he knows that the neon has a track record that is proven.
Now I'm actually disappointed that you'd bring in stuff from another thread into this one. Remember, you made the first negative comment and tried to carry things into another topic altogether. Sorry, not bitting on it.
