Neon fill gives a good red. It is a brighter and different red (more "cherry red").No issues that I can think of, other than the obvious...
-Does the customer prefer one color over the other?
-If the job is outdoors and you live in a cold climate, use Neon fill.
-You can run more footage per trans. with argon fill.I have used Neon filled coated ruby red behind white faced channel letters and it results in a nice red colored face at night. The customer wanted white faces during the day and red at night. It only took on a "pinkish effect" at sunset, but once it was dark out looked nice and red.
