I don't remember seeing it posted here. Maybe I missed it. What do you have and how much do you want for it?

IMO the value of used neon equipment has been diminished considerably in the past couple of years due to some of it being listed as "refurbished" (though it rarely really is) and sold for low dollar to unsuspecting or uninformed buyers (usually hobbyists, but not always). Consequently, potential buyers often expect to get very good quality used equipment - and even new equipment - for a similar price. IMO this does two things: It hurts the neon industry as a whole and only serves to line the pockets of the seller who has little regard for what they are doing and even less invested monetarily in what they are pedaling: Little money for the old used equipment they managed to dig up and some quick clean-up time on the outside to try and make it look a little better. Unfortunately the buyers do not get to see what the inside looks like, which is really more important than the outside from a functionality standpoint. The other detriment to our industry from their "gear" is the attempt to use something for an application that it was not designed for. A couple examples that quickly come to mind is attempting to pass off a transformer with a single high voltage secondary coil as a "neon bombarder", a Delta configuration distribution transformer as a DC saturable core reactor (Variac choke), or a used phase angle control that was designed for something completely different as being a "bombarder choke".

I feel sorry for the family of the loved one who will someday lose their life messing around with their newly acquired “neon equipment” because they took the seller at their word that “this should work fine”, (emphasis on *should*) with no real-world testing (or for that matter liability insurance) to back up their opinion.

Unfortunately some individuals rely on the old saying being true that “There’s a sucker born every minute”.
