Tom Unger, an American neon bender was recently the guest of Dirk A. Boonstra in the Netherlands. The following pages feature photos from four Dutch neon shops.

A high production shop is owned and operated by brothers Chiel and Wil. These pictures show the four ovens in the shop, heating coils, the manifold pumping arm, the mercury trap, the induction coil, a turbomolecular pump, and the mirror effect.
