Lead Glass Bender Wanted in Seattle, WA!

My name is Page and I am the marketing director for Western Neon in Seattle. Western Neon, established in 1985, is looking for an experienced neon tube bender. This is a full-time position working directly with our Production Coordinator to manage new projects as well as service repairs. We are a commercial shop with an emphasis on having fun and creating art daily!

Must Have:
-at least 5 years’ experience bending glass professionally
-complete understanding of tube bombarding and processing
-ability to maintain bombarding systems and manifolds
-knowledge and ability to complete advanced neon techniques including but not
limited to:
*oven/kiln processing single electrode soda lime and borosilicate
*crackle units
*uncoated neon filled units
*cold cathode

Must be able to:
- bend glass full-time
- manage production in addition to service repairs
- work dynamically with custom fabrication team
- communicate accurately and effectively with production team
-maintain a clean and efficient work space
- lift 50 lbs

Salary: $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
