Going back to lead glass after working LF, I'm always amazed at how long it stays fluid. It actually makes me impatient, because I'm used to the rapid turnaround time of LF. But when you're connecting the two together, it's easy to introduce strain in the LF glass if you're still moving the joint when just the leaded is moving.
