Electrodes, the saga continues

I have been following the great electrode controversy for several days, and would like to add my 2 pennies worth. I am a 53+ years tubebender and during this time period I have used electrodes from many sources. Where all of them came from I am not certain, I do know that some came from China, the USA and I think form Europe. I have had various problems at one time or another, with all of them. I have been able to overcome those problems, mostly on my own. I have asked some of the top neon gurus for their guidance and was rewarded with answers that helped me through the situation. I will say that in defense of those I currently use, that a 12MM electrode is indeed 12mm, diameter, not 13mm as is the case with the current electrodes, reportedly made in the USA. That holds true for the 13mm being actually 14 mm diameter. My point is this, at least in China, they get the size right. I am currently using electrodes made in China, as I feel that the overall quality is as good as the higher priced counterparts reportedly being made in the USA. If some one here can beat the China made electrodes in quality and price I might change.
