Good idea to point out all failing points in these signs to your customers.
Aside from the under pumping, also be aware that the signs from Asia usually have 10 or 20 MA rated electrodes on 30 MA transformers. They sputter out fairly fast.
They also use polycarbonate spring loaded tube supports often in heights of 1 or 2 1/2 inches. These supports are not sold in North America, so when their cheap bases break off, you may have to replace all of the supports with a standard 1 3/4 " model.
The Asian tube supports are also a NeonPro product. NeonPro is the trade name used by Hyrite Corporation. Hyrite will only sell 1 3/4" models from their American office, but you may be able to get the longer or shorter models through their Asian office. I was quoted about .08 cents apiece plus shipping with minimum order quantities of 1000 per model.
