circa 1950 green neon

Restoring this circa 1950 porcelain Chevy dealership sign made by Walker. Some of the tubes are still intact (has been in storage) and light up green, but are almost like a VP green and look like a neon pump. White phosphor, clear glass. 15mm. Is this some green used back then I'm unfamiliar with? Or perhaps a gas mixture used with excess neon (like a higher K-4) for use in colder climates? (In Michigan). (Also when some argon tubes are turned on after being dormant for decades they make take a while for a bluer hue....I didn't have time to wait around, I just had my tube tester). Any comments would be appreciated.
