Ben,

Your finds are interesting and I would have loved to have been there to rummage, but I'm not sure the electrodes are of much value. I'd doubt any monetary value, but most of us have collected old electrodes and components from old benders or shops just out of our passion. That's what's in all the boxes in our shops.

In all my restoration work, I've never had anyone want old electrodes or electrodes of possibly questionable quality put on a unit. Maybe others have. Folks are usually more interested in the neon lighting again, staying true to original form, and lasting - even museum pieces.

As for donating them, you could try The American Sign Museum (signmuseum.org) or The Neon Museum (neonmuseum.org). The former may have more interest in them.

Good luck,

Tom U.
