Thank you, I couldn't remember where I had seen it, but it was indeed a Jimmy Johns sign. I also had a Puckers (alcohol) sign with a deep green dip on it. If it's not directly marketed towards neon producers, I'm going to guess it's just a Plasti Dip like you would put on your tool handles.

The product says it is safe to 200F, so that should be okay for 12mm tubes on a solid state transformer, and I'll avoid the electrodes as an added precaution.

Any thoughts?
