We always used FMS Corp. / Brillite for Blockout paint. They sell both kinds www.brillite.com
Used both kinds over the years. the water based in the latter years. We had one of our sign shop companies make us an aluminum box with cover.

The original "Stazon" was easier to take care of adding the stazon thinner when needed.

There is an elaborate tank system with drains and pumps explained in a Signs of the Times Magazine back in the 90s. You could contact them or search their archives. It would be the ideal system , if you are into dipping for the long run.
