Hmmmm.

I hate to rain on your parade... but a reality check may be in order.

You are at the level of pursuing an apprenticeship and developing your skillset, but intend on opening a shop "soon". That doesn't quite add up.
Achieving "journeyman" level skills used to take 3-5 years on avg.(Granted some people produce high quality work sooner than others, but there needs to be a fair amount of volume of work available).

Too add to the mix (from your other post) you intend to do mainly design and sculpture work.

A neighboring State had a Tech School that taught NEON. The main focus was Art, design, sculpture. Turning out "wide-eyed" art students(but not NEON craftsmen ready to enter the "real world" in the sign business). Most regular NEON work seemed to bore them and production work was not at all what they expected to find when entering the sign business. Most of them produced crude work and many wanted to open studios and sell art. I don't know of any left in the area that are still in the sign business (or of any art studios).
I'm not saying it can't be done(there are some out there), but on avg., a studio selling Neon Sculpture for it's main source of profit (and being successful) is very rare.

Of course, I'm not sure of your situation.
Are you looking to open a shop and turn a profit?
Do you need to make a "living" or are you Independently Wealthy? (if profit is not a concern, then forget most of what I have typed.lol).
