After a few long conversations with a few local venders. I went down to his credit union (88 miles each way) on a sat. morn. and cashed the NSF stamped copy of the check my bank gave me. His bank manger told me I put him in his over draft and he still had stuff waiting to clear. I counted my money smiled and walked away.
A great end to this problem.
