Most likely not. Usually, they are blacklight versions, with harmless UV-a at 360nm. Not all neon phosphors react to this wavelength. Proper UV tube for you is clear, made with quartz or otherwise special glass to pass mercury 254nm hard UV-c. Be careful, though. Do not stare into it! It really causes all that nasty stuff including skin cancer...
