Remember, I did not say DV-6M exactly and precise 100ma. Quick look at Sam Goldwasser site gives correct values (21ma for DV-6M). My tube (not dv6) is designed for 100ma, actual calibrated current is 108ma.

BTW even russians know how to use LM317 chip and couple of resistors and capacitors ;) I am pretty sure many americans too. Charging $300 for a dumb circuit plus just microamp head is a ripoff IMO.

I am in serious doubt average neon shop is anything near "calibrated environment" run by "factory trained technicians" ;-)

If not, please tell me how one can ever read reliably that "critical" 2mm Hg pressure from 40 Torr gauge in common use?
