Yeah, they don't 'melt' and get all sticky!

I've been experimenting with technolux silicone short sleeves as boots for blowing. I took a bit of electrical tape and wrapped the end of the brass swivel so it snugly fit in the GTO end of the boot.

A 12mm sleeve fits nicely over 15mm tube. Smaller diameter glass fits in the portion of the sleeve where the GTO ties to the electrode. It's a bit of a trick to get it to fit over 12/13mm glass. I'm not sure, but it seems a 10mm sleeve would be ideal for 12/13mm glass. I could never use a whole box of them though, as I don't use electrodes smaller than 12mm.
