Hi Terry,

I assume you are having problems with your file getting dull quickly with the lead-free glass? Have you tried looking for diamond coated files? You may also want to try a Dremel tool with one of the diamond coated cutting disks in it. Just make a score mark on the glass similar to a file mark. Personally I still prefer the Griffin cutter. I have switched to a carbide wheel and use it for Pyrex too and it lasts a long time even on hard glass.
