You will get used to it quickly, you'll end up turning up your fires a bit. And Mark is right, it puts off a ton of sodium flare you need didymium glasses for this, not just being paranoid, but it WILL cause cataracts, and that's a drag. (not to mention it really helps you see the glass in the fire...).

Pretty sure the ban on lead glass took effect Jan 1st, 2011, so we're over a year into it. I still get lead glass from my distributor from time to time, mostly off colors that they still have in stock.
