As with all other suppliers, your supplier has no choice. Lead free is all that is available now. American leaded glass is no longer made. All the new coated glass from the suppliers is now lead free. All new electrodes are also lead free.

When working with it, treat it similar to how you would treat classic glass. And be sure to wear proper eye protection so you will not damage your eye sight.
