Tom,

Did you ever get any direct feedback on this? Winslow brought something similar up not too long ago and the post didn't really receive much input. If the quality of certain brands of SS's has become a problem I'm sure a lot of people would like to know about it and a viable alternative. Voicing experiences is one way to get the manufacturers attention.
