I did some searching... here's a link of the video.
You can see the sign they are restoring early in the video, but the NEON shop visit starts around 13:40.
Looking at the finished sign i was surprised to see each letter made in individual units with multiple surface jumps. I would have guessed there were 2 letters per unit originally.
I also would have painted over the black blockout paint with white to blend in with the white copy on the sign (but then, maybe the shop was not aware of the signs painted copy color). Video did not state who did the wiring/assembly.Tony D.
