neon on the boob tube...

SO last night I was surfing around on tv and came across "American Restoration", a off shoot of pickers and pawn stars. Anyways, they paid a visit to a neon shop in Vegas. Is was about what you'd expect with a 30 second explanation of the process of making a tube, but it was pretty cool none the less. I did, however, notice the all to typical big ego of the host/restorer dude that was identical to many MANY installers I've worked with through the years.."I do everything myself, I just don't do neon, I know I could, but I don't.." (Paraphrased, I don't remember word for word, just the attitude..)

Didn't get the name of the shop, but it was messy and looked busy enough to have a bender and a hip tattoo kid pumping the tubes...

I'm sure you can find it now on hulu or on demand or something, for kicks and giggles, may be worth your time...
