I'm a bit confused.

All your references to tubing state "coated ruby red"(either argon or neon). I guess i've never seen tubing labeled "coated ruby red argon".
You can fill the same "Coated Ruby Red" tubing with NEON or Argon/merc. and get two different reds.

Or......... are you simply looking for UNCOATED Ruby Red tubing (to fill with NEON gas) ? This is an entirely different color again.

In the past, Ruby Red Tubing glass color varied at times per batch, and existing jobs are sometimes hard to match regardless.
I have some Ruby Red glass that is almost Cherry Red, while another sample almost looks black (the nicest/deepest burgundy red when lit), and still other sticks in between those two extremes in color.
