Sean,

Not to beat up on EGL, but the facts are the facts...
I visited your website and noticed much more than a change of e-mail address. Based on your website, I would have to take issue with a few of the statements you just made.

Just at first glance of the home page:
1-"Your NEON Source" has been changed to "Your Illumination Solution"
2-The day i visited the site the varitas led module was the predominate advertisement.
3-That ad (and under "latest news" off to the left side) clearly state you are marketing leds to "channel letters", "sign brightness", "sign boxes", "for the illumination of signage", etc.

So... I am not quite sure of what you mean when you say " our leds were not designed with the sign industry in mind" ??? Are we to believe a company supplying the sign industry for over 80 years develops a new product line without intending to sell to that same industry ??? Huh???

I realize as a large company, you will do what you have to do to stay in business in todays marketplace. But PLEASE, don't think your potential small end-users ( NEON fabricators/wholesalers, signshops, etc. ) are uneducated buffoons, and actually believe you never intended to sell leds to the sign industry. That just insults our intelligence.

Many NEON wholesalers as myself are small 1 man shops, enabeling us the luxury to remain "purists" to NEON. Any involvement with leds is distasteful to us... on our part or our suppliers part. You can't win us back once you go to "the dark side".
;(
BUT - your company has already considered all of this by projecting the numbers... and there are many more dollars to be made selling leds than keeping small old customers like us happy (well, you didn't even have to do the math to see that one).

I just wish you would have sold leds under a new company name vs. selling them under a name built by over 80 years of support from the NEON Industry!

Thanks,
Tony D.
