Getting setup to dip will add professionality to your operation, the trick is to get a vessel in which you can keep the paint fresh between dips.

We use a dough proofer that is cast resin and comes with a lid that seals airtight, is large enough to dip medium size pieces in whole with about 2 gallons of fluid.

PEI is where we get the paint, 5 gallons per order. If you keep it sealed, it lasts a very long time. You won't want to brush another unit after you dip.

I built a 'dryer' that is basically a sheet of plywood with tight wires every 3" to provide a low-contact, suspended surface to dry the tubes quickly.

After mounting, it takes a few touchups to complete the blockout. Much less work than manual blockout.
