ANOTHER SOURCE FOR FORMER DACO CUSTOMER NEEDS

In Response To: Monarch Neon Supplies (argonguy)

SVP stocks a full range of replacement parts and maintenance supplies for Daco manifolds, diffusion pumps, etc. Our customer service and support is second to none.

Most components are interchangeable between SVP and Daco manifolds. For those that are not, SVP still has blueprints and parts lists of Daco items. We can make, repair or replace anything on Daco Precision manifolds, diffusion pumps and related components.

For manifold and diffusion pump glass repairs, we do all of our Pyrex glasswork in-house, something none of our competitors do. This fact alone will save you time and money. In most cases we can provide same day or next day service on repairs.

SVP also has most Daco part numbers to refer to should it be necessary, but this is usually irrelevant. Understandably, most do not know the part number or the correct part name for an item they need. But thanks to modern technology it isn’t necessary. It only takes a few minutes to email us a picture so we can “see” what is needed if the customer is not sure.

It should be noted that when I sold Precision to Daco in 1994, Larry was either already working there or started a very short time later. Mike was not there until after that. So I am curious to know the basis for your comment that Mike was “Daco's best and longest tenured employee”.

Concerning the ownership rights to Kitco and who builds them (“he also owns and builds all the KITCO products”), there is only one way you could know this information. (I’ll let the “viewing audience” draw their own conclusions as to who “argonguy” really is.) I specifically asked Mike about this and he (you?) never replied. If there are any type of legal rights to the name and/or design and Mike does in fact own them, he is required to divulge this information when someone asks. If he does not, it is a step toward relinquishing any claimed rights he asserts he has.

Btw, it is easy for anyone to make replacement wire loops for the Kitco.

Promoting a start-up business through an alias and implied third person does nothing to instill trust and confidence in prospective customers, regardless of who you used to work for; that company failed and is now history. To the contrary: If the new business cannot be forthright, it would be foolish for anyone to purchase from such a company and provide that company with their credit card info when making a purchase.
