Yes, led's have their place (a garbage can comes to mind - lol) and they're not going away.

I just couldn't figure out how a "NEON artist" didn't understand why we don't just buy the koolaide and work with led's?
I am also a "sign painter/pinstriper" (on rare occasion these days) and transitioned into doing some vinyl in the '90s (but never had the passion for it like a "hand-craft"). Not going down that road with led's though.

Oh, and back to Eric's main post. Pay raises might help, but from what I understand, low wages are only part of the puzzle. Aren't most exported Chinese products hugely gov't. subsidised?
