In Response To: Re: equipment vs. cold weather question (SVP Neon Equipment)

Thanks for the replies Dana & Mark. I had thought about draining the pump to protect against freezing and expansion of any water in the oil but flushing out the old and refilling/running with new oil makes more sense. It should have clicked that an empty pump would have created more issues.

I've seen and tried this pumping system in the last couple of weeks so I'm confident about it's performance. It just needs to survive an Alberta winter in the storage bay. The pump will be sealed in a rubbermaid-type tote container and the disassembled manifold with be stored that way as well.

The idea at the moment is to pick up equipment and inventory bit by bit as the summer season overtime comes in on my paychecks then set up once the equally-busy Sept - Dec. season slows down.

Mark - do you have an idea as to current shipping cost for 6 boxes of electrodes to T2R 0J2 (Calgary AB)? Thanks.
