Open one of the books I mentioned. From the chart you can determine how much gas each burner consumes *per hour*. There is even a BTU value given for each burner if you want to look at it that way. Multiply the *per hour consumption* by your gas cost, which is stated on your utility bill. Is that so hard? No, it's simple really. But maybe I'm being too specific.
