In Response To: gas costs for burners (terlsworld)

It is irrelevant what we pay since each shop has a multitude of variables. Different torch set-up, type, consumption rates, quantities, time of operation, different fuel sources (NG or Propane), different pressures, etc. From a research standpoint you are not satisfying your own question. These variable overhead costs are doubtfully measured by most shops since time, pressure, and consumption data would be required to be collected. Determine your torch type, your flow rates, and you local gas costs and estimate the time of torch usage to get a "ballpark" figure. Otherwise, the data you are requesting is useless. Be productive, and do some calculating, what we incur for costs in no way will reflect what you may experience. Why should we present our data when it appears you are too lazy to pick up a pencil and a calculator or create an function spreadsheet?!

Most of us would not have the data you are requesting since we have other costs and functions that require more analysis and time dedication. Do us all a favor and read what has been presented in other posts or tell us why you require this information and then perhaps someone will come forward with some numerical data.
