My "wholesale prices" are actually more like those retail prices you quoted..... but I have very little volume. I got tired of everyone doubling my prices without doing anything in the fab process. I mean, out of my half comes material costs, etc. - At that rate, their profit was more than mine and they didn't have to do a thing. Oh, they remove & install it, but they certainly charge for that service also.
As wholesalers we invest in the equipment, provide all the labor, pay the rent, stock the inventory (which I have to do in my remote area, with no local supply houses - & when I order raw material...hope to hell that the glass stock arrives without 25-50% broken).
