What happened??

Its been a while since i last posted for various reasons - none of which matter anymore. I thought id check in to see whats happening on USA side of the planet.
What can i say? We may have narrowly missed a recession but as one of my customers said today - its like someone turned the neon tap off.
All American owned franchises have directed no more neon - only LED
Shopping centres - only LED
Local Chinatown - no more exposed neon.

So we now have poorly lit fabricated letters, dotted with light pixels that just are not lasting, costing more and are less energy efficient... and yet LED is "green".
So us 2 last remaining neon shops in my city squabble over whats left of a neon business, trying to eek it out till we actually work out what the hell we are going to do instead. The run up to Xmas is the boom time for us - its just so flat though.
