> a high enough temperature.Thanks for the info John. So what I gather then is the HiMA electrodes do not function like the HotFil electrodes. They were supposed to, but didn't because the operating current wasn't high enough. Interesting. So all these years the wool has been being pulled over the eyes of those who believed they *had* to use the high-dollar special electrodes for certain lamps when they really didn't. If an off the shelf 19CL works, then anyone's comparable electrode would work just as well. I have turned away replacement lamp work and I suspect others have too because... well, never mind, don't get me going.
