So ? What's your point SAL ?

Purchasing a high quality manifold system in no way pre-determines your skill level as a glassblower.

I've fabricated and used three different manifold systems (including butyl pthylate gauges) in the past. You still have to buy the glass stopcocks and glass stock. Or do you make and hand draw your own tubes too - lol ? BUT, these manifolds take more regular cleaning maintenence, regreasing stopcocks, etc. Constantly changing gas flasks.

I prefer a more durable pyrex glass system with "grease-less" stopcocks and pressurized rare gas canisters.
There is WAY less maintenence and less chance of contaminating your rare gas supply when it's a pressurized canister vs. a 1 litre glass flask.

The list of advantages over the "old school" manifolds goes on & on......but that's just opinion.
