need information on pumping

working for a new company,glassbending i have worked on eurocom systems,pumping before.new company has old school system greased cockstops ect.my question is there is no gauge for the amount of gas to put in the unit they have the oil gauges.can any body tell me the procedure of pumping units with this type of system step by step.thankyou very much you are a great knowledgable group of true benders thankx again sal16
