Sean, I had to laugh when I read your reply: Someone asked me if I could 'put neon in a box' a while back and it left me with a helpless feeling when I could not imagine what it was they wanted-and they had a difficult time translating the concept to me. Great answer to the brightness.

I use the France dimmable trans when I know it will be interior-facing, but it really is not dim-able enough, maybe a 10% cut in brightness.
